For many of us during this holiday season, there is much to be thankful for. However for many, the Holidays can be some of the most difficult times.
To support fellow Chicago families this holiday, we’ve created a benefit concert.
It will be a great opportunity to safely connect with your old classmates and friends, to enjoy live music and support a special local charity.
Servants For Hope is a local community organization created by a 27-year old doctoral candidate from Englewood. This community organization provides children with essential items, winter gear and other special gifts/toys from their wishlist every year for hundreds of families. (See more of the story below).
Entertainment:
Enjoy a DJ and live entertainment from the bands Smush & Silver Age at a storied Chicago music venue.
We’ve spoken to many of you by phone who have already purchased tickets, tables or invited friends. Please make sure to purchase your tickets and tables, while supplies last.
We’re excited to see you 12/11 @8pm. Thanks in advance for your support.
P.S. The evening will include strict SAFETY protocols so please make sure you read the FAQ section.

I cannot attend but want to support Servants For Hope
Servants For Hope
Founded in 2017 by Deonte Tanner, Servants For Hope (SFH) is a nonprofit that provides hope through wellness services to low-income families with a focus on those with young scholars. Our Hope Builders serve thousands of families and homeless residents annually through community events, outreach services, scholarships and more.
About The Founder
After graduating with honors from Marquette University, Deonte returned to his hometown of Englewood on a mission to have a direct, sustainable impact on his community. Recognizing the damaging misperception of communities of colors stemming from systemic racism, redlining, media bias, etc., he set out to “change the narrative” by setting an example for his peers and neighbors.
Servants For Hope Holiday Drive
With household budgets stretched to the limit, many hard working families on the South and West Sides of Chicago cannot provide their children with holiday gifts this season.
Together, we can help!
For our 6th annual Hopeful Holiday Drive, our goal is to provide gifts and winter outerwear essentials to children from over 250 pre-registered families.
SFH is honored to be the beneficiary of the Hopeful Holiday Concert. Your purchases and related donations will enable SFH and our community partners to uplift families and provide much needed joy this season for our youngest community members.
Thank you on behalf some very happy families from Englewood and elsewhere.
Doug Kenney (Adviser) & Deonte Tanner (Servants For Hope Founder)
Provide Hope and Joy to Children and their families.
Adopting a family during the holidays provides more than the obvious smiles, joy and thoughtful presents on Christmas Day. By upgrading your Hopeful Holiday experience, you will enable SFH volunteers to fulfill a family’s gift and essential needs list. You can also make a donation on servantsforhope.com. Your generosity provides hope, healing and love where despair and difficulty abound. Thank you!
